Harry - special needs Domestic Shorthair Kitten Male in Am Qui, Tennessee

My story
Harry is an adorable tuxedo boy who loves to be held and cuddled. He is gentle and very trusting. Harry loves to curl up in a lap for long periods of time. He has tested negative for FIV and leukemia, had his first vaccine, deworming and flea prevention. Harry is scheduled for his remaining shots on November 21st and his neuter is scheduled for December 6th. Harry is great with other cats, calm dogs and older children. He will be 4.5 months old when he is ready for adoption.

Harry has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which is a condition that causes him to shake and wobble. Harry's case is severe so he cannot stand, walk, run or jump. He can crawl along the floor and will eventually get to wherever he wants to go. He can eat dry food and drink water on his own. He needs a little assistance to eat canned food without making a mess. Harry is perfect with the litter box. He needs a pan with a low entry and tall sides because he will crawl into the box and roll around while he is using the pan. He is good at keeping himself clean but will probably need an occasional bath. Harry loves to play and is great at finding creative ways to play with other kittens. He would love to be adopted with his sister, Holly, who also has CH. Harry usually stays in a pop-up playpen when he is home alone but enjoys being out in the middle of everything with supervision.

He will need a home with no small or active children, no large or active dogs and no adult cats who are likely to bully him. He would absolutely love to have a home with a kitty friend and is very comfortable with our lazy medium size dog. He is also great with children as long as they are careful not to drop him or let him fall. Harry's adoption fee is $105. If you are interested in adopting Harry, please complete the online adoption application. You can also email healingheartsrescue@hotmail.com or text (615) . No phone calls please!! We are happy to send videos of him playing and crawling and set up a visit for any approved adopter. Check out this cute video of Harry playing with his friend, Ariel. He is the one in the box.
